Das im Jahr 2000 in Großbritannien ins Leben gerufene „The Big Draw Festival“ (oft auch als „The Big Draw Europe“ oder schlicht „The Big Draw“ bezeichnet) ist das weltweit größte Zeichenfestival und erfasst jeden Oktober ganz Europa und darüber hinaus. Obwohl es als übergreifende Initiative für visuelle Alphabetisierung und Kunstförderung angelegt ist, wird der Aktionsmonat massiv von der europäischen Comic-, Manga- und Graphic-Novel-Szene genutzt. Bibliotheken, Schulen, Museen und Comicfachhandlungen veranstalten in diesem Zeitraum europaweit Zeichnen-Workshops, Live-Drawing-Events und Comic-Mitmachaktionen.

Launched in the UK in 2000, "The Big Draw Festival" (frequently referred to as "The Big Draw Europe" or simply "The Big Draw") is the world's largest celebration of drawing, taking place every October across Europe and globally. While founded as a broader initiative to champion visual literacy and arts education, the month-long event is heavily embraced by the European comic, manga, and graphic novel community. Throughout October, libraries, schools, museums, and comic shops host comic-creation workshops, live-drawing sessions, and interactive art events.

Lancé au Royaume-Uni en 2000, « The Big Draw Festival » (souvent appelé « The Big Draw Europe » ou simplement « The Big Draw ») est le plus grand festival de dessin au monde. Il se déroule chaque mois d'octobre à travers toute l'Europe et dans le monde entier. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'une initiative générale dédiée à la promotion du dessin et de l'éducation visuelle, ce mois d'action est largement investi par la scène européenne de la bande dessinée, du manga et du roman graphique. Durant tout le mois, bibliothèques, écoles, musées et librairies organisent des ateliers de création de BD, des sessions de dessin en direct et des animations interactives.
