The Luxembourg organisation LUXBD initiates a scholarly cooperation with the German Society for Comic Studies "ComFor" to establish institutional documentation standards.
LUXBD asbl is professionalising sequential art with the L-IDAC-9 (Luxembourg’s International Documentation and Analysis Code for the Ninth Art) and establishing the scientific standards for research, documentation and specialist journalism in the field of graphic literature.
